Fish pie for tea with carrots and peas or beans. Always the meal I make when my husband has overindulged and has had bad acid reflux. Maybe strawberries and blueberries with cream....for me anyway.

Tonight smoked mackeral, a big salad and new potatoes. If yesterdays wind has blown some more Bramleys off the tree maybe a blackberry and apple pie.

Lunch: hummus and a bit of salad.
Supper: chicken and apricot tagine plus lemon curd ice cream for pud.
Location: north-east Spain, where the sun is too hot, the rain too torrential, the hail too big, the wind too windy and the snow too deep. Last frost: usually mid-April, sometimes first week in May. First frost: mid-October.

I think it will be tomato, pesto and mozzarella bake, ribs in barbecue sauce, onion rings in beer batter, a small salad, garlic bread for me and a few chips for my husband.
Leftover blackberry and apple pie (if we have room).

I think we're going for a late evening BBQ ( pork and courgettes) with plenty of cold side salads followed by more fresh peaches
Probably a firepit afterwards with toasted marsh mellows...I'm sure I have some hidden away for such an emergency!

Daughter made a tagine type dish last night, I'll have to see if there's any leftover in the fridge.

I don't want the oven on tonight (32C here at the moment) so pork escalopes with a sage sauce, potato scallops in beer batter, carrots and peas. Just remembered I picked up some more Bramley windfalls so apple sauce as well.

No briam last night. The bread looked and smelled so good we just went for a cheese sandwich.

                              Lunch: onion tart and salad
                              Supper: probably another sandwich

Mini rondos while the oven is on for the tart.
