Making a new wildlife pond

I think they are Smooth Newts, but don't want to disturb them if there's a chance they might be egg laying to get a closer look, will try and get some pictures.

Looking quite full with plants now, might have to start pruning soon lol.

Could be white in the centre with a pinkish outer colour,it looks like pac mans trying to eat it

Thanks folks, the blanket weed is a pain, but the critters in there don't seem to mind and the birds have made a bathing beach in one corner, so it is doing it's job.
