I moved the framework fom my old plot with the intention of retrieving the cover at a later date. The new occupants in their infinite wisdom, dragged the cover to the top of the plot and piled all manner of crap (bricks,broken galss and wire netting on top of it. I managed to extricate it, but it was in a sorry state with broken glass and mud plus pools of water in it . I put it over the framework to see if it was still in one piece then noticed it was inside out, with the the tie straps for the framework and the sewn seems on the outside.
I'll leave it there for the time being and hose it down and clean it in situ, before turning it the right way round!

Took my 'Vince' tomato plantlets from the bedroom window where they were getting leggy. Potted six plants up into individual pots and set them quite deeply in the compost.

Sowed some delphinium seeds in a pot with a placcy bag over the top. Sowed some Giant Sunflower seeds. Had a bit of a water fest watering stuff that I thought required it. I have a small shrub who's young leaves are red. They were shrivelled a bit last night and I couldn't decide whether thry had been frosted or it was just a lack of water. Watered plant and it has recovered its red shiny leaves!

Now my four main planting beds are reasonably well established I need to make some headway on the perimeter beds. With this in mind I started shifting 'stuff' mainly timber to the bottom of the plot so I can start delineating the other beds.
Luckily, I am off work Good Friday onward for a week where I should be able to get stuck into it. I also need to find a space and get my maincrop tatties planted.

Started setting out the triangular/trapesium shaped beds at the edge of the plot.Used an RSJ that i can hardly lift as edging!

I need to look at my plan which is below. Slightly changed now as I've got a polytunnel where my strawberries were going to go.I also may swap the soft fruit and chrysanthemum beds around.
