DWS, that's amazing, can't wait to see the pond filled in. It's bigger than my garden!
I had to hunt the pics for your wife, reminds me of a book we have here "where's wally" where you hunt for a tiny character in a big busy picture! I need glasses! Made me giggle 😀

Here's a picture of our pond!!

When we moved in the house 2 years ago the preview was quite old and didn't really look after it. We have since filled it with rubble. The other half wants to cover it with grass seed.

    First water lily flower.

The pond is heaving with dragonfly larvae at the moment - they might slow down the cabbage white butterflies next year.

Thought I would share pictures of my pond along with the new extension just over 5ft deep. Running nexus 210 with easy pod and oase filto clear and most important vegi filter with tomatoes in .

I've often looked through this thread a tad envious at how lovely all your ponds look because I've never had but always wanted one. We had talked about putting one in a few weeks ago but no more was said. Then I came home from work tonight to find this

    I guess I really am getting a pond 😀

I am one happy and very excited girlie

Nice aren't they! They were from RHS collected seed, purportedly Primula bulleyana and Primula sieboldii.
