        Got our plot in October so this will be our first year of growing, just need to build a further 2 raised beds when the rain stops for long enough!

        ... Won't let me add my pic for some reason! Will try again..

            When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
            If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

                  Heh, new phone that I'm still getting the hang of. Right way round when I took the photo

                    Photos of GH, with arctic king lettuce and herbs,

                    bed 1 has chard in cold frame and leeks behind

                    bed 2 parsnips and scorzonera

                    bed 3 kale and sprouts.

                    then strawberries in yellow tub

                        Bren, is your cold frame, a home made one? If you dont mind me asking? You may remember a little while ago I 'reclaimed a shower door that my neighbour had dumped, husband is going to make into frame for me ( I hope)

                            Dotty its a kitchen window frame propped on a couple of breeze blocks and bricks with wiggly plastic down either side. Its a bit of a bodge all because my Chard is doing well so I didn't want the snow to flatten it.
