Since I can't make up my mind which bit of the garden to record this year - it can be the same one I do have plans for it though!!

I'm going for the Scruffiest Allotment of the Year award!

From the top of the slope (North West corner)

From the top of the slope (South West corner)

From the bottom of the slope (North East corner)

Hopefully the plastic will give way to super duper new beds later in the year, so less of the rubbish dump look

It's dark out just now so no pic yet, however I will be adding my north facing back garden on Monday (off for a lunchtime pig-out tomorrow in Aberdeen so it will be dark again by the time we are home!). Definitely going to keep the progress pictures up the year.

          Honest.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

And for fear of trying to "Hijack" this thread, which I am not!

This is project 2014, started 5 years ago, "My Back Yard" But unfortunately both parents took Terminally Ill, and sadly now passed! had to be "Sidelined" and allotment took up first place after being granted! but now almost completed, this will now get my full attention this year!

This "Water Feature" Home made actually works!

              Ain't gardening fun?

This is a great idea. I think I'll incorporate both my Garden and the allotment in this. I'll get some pics taken over the next few days

Next few are the garden that I'll be working on in between the allotment duties:

                      My plot

View facing south. Note the river is still high.

This is the view from the south. All the raised beds have been introduced this year and made with pallets and/or scaffold planks. I am ashamed to admit that I had never heard of a raised bed until I started getting interested after reading The Grapevine. The rubbish bottom left was dumped when the river Avon flooded!! I am hoping to shred this when it dries off.
Am I lucky or what, with this next door to our house http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...lies/smile.gif

Thought I'd have a go at uploading something monthly. So here is January. Got the plot last year in April.

Greenhouse and Hot box are new ventures for 2014...

Will aim to take a pic in the last week of each month..
