We had a tiny bit yesterday morning but melted. We have a bit more today and it's snowing heavy enough now. I hope it doesn't last.

Yes indeed, my fallback position will be that I will garden around them until he can move them without killing them come November.

Well it's still March. I've been waiting for a sunny day to take some photos but it's time to give up on that. I know I should be thankful that we haven't got snow but I do wish there was more of a change from the February pics.

March Views from the other back door!

Last day of March, first day of British Summer Time - and the sun shone all day
I've spent most of today clearing the "cliff" in the photos! These are the "before" shots

Blooming heck VC, so when you garden it rope up as in Hillary & Tenzing. At least now the snow's gone you don't need grampons.

This garden is not for the faint-hearted. 50 steps to the house, another 50 to the top of the garden - about 200 steps if you count them all - and everything has to be carried in or out! Whatever possessed me.................

Over the month, snow has gone, fence painted, blowaway sited & filled with half barrels for main crop spuds & planted up,three pointed leeks, perpetual leeks, garlic, red onions & rhubarb all recovering well from the cold snap, aquadulce broad beans planted & golf ball sticks coming into bud,had hoped for more but the weather & my car decided otherwise

What a difference a month makes.

The sun is shining, the winds gone and there is actually stuff growing out there. At this rate we may have a year after all
