    Now I am a fully fledged member of the aubergine growers club I want to make the most of my first harvest.
    What are your favourite ways to cook or recipes for enjoying this yummy veggie?

    I’ve never had any luck with aubergines until I put them on a wicking system last year. Seems to work very well with them. I get tons from 5 plants.

    Nice one peanut look good ones too . Had a few of ours last night and some were bitter, not had that before.. wonder if the heatwave influenced the flavour.

    Fantastic harvest.
    Anytime they are big enough and still shiny is good for harvest. Aubergines are always eaten when still botanically under-ripe.
