There's one thing having a list and quite another actually doing it. My enthusiasm level is at rock bottom at the moment and the weather really isn't helping. Yesterday I walked down to the allotment intending to do something useful, and came straight home with carrots and romanesco because it was "too cold". Today its still cold and also raining, so nothing is going to get done. Hopefully better weather and more enthusiasm tomorrow!

Nothing got done anyway as it was very cold and damp and I had loads of other stuff to do.

Nothing doing yesterday as I spent all day trying to book an appointment for someone to come and sort out my internet which is running slowly. I did manage to harvest a carrot from the garden.

I"™m thinking about sowing some red onion seed in a plastic tub with lid & leaving them outside in a sheltered spot on the patio. They"™ll grow when they"™re ready & won"™t need any maintenance,hardening off etc. I need to plant a bag of onion sets into a cell tray,I"™ll cover them somehow but I wonder if they"™d just rot outside now it"™s so cold,I might start them off indoors (I don"™t know what I"™m doing,I"™m late planting these sets,I think I"™ll start them off on the windowsill in the coolest room,as soon as I see green shoots harden them off to keep the growth small,then leave them outside in a sheltered spot next to the house to keep frost away). I"™m just thinking though but the onion seeds are in front of me & the composts in the kitchen potting corner I made yesterday
Edit - Done (two types of red onion seed outside & the sets in the window,a couple have already started growing so they"™ll be happy).
