I've been away for a bit so this is a catch up. Just before leaving on 27 July I picked 8 courgettes. During the week my husband reckoned he'd picked another 8 plus one that had turned into a marrow which he gave to a neighbour. When I got home yesterday I picked another 8 courgettes plus another marrow which we enjoyed stuffed for two meals.

Courgettes: 19 + 8 + 8 + 8 = 43

There are lots more coming on - I may dig up one of the plants altogether as I never expected them to be so prolific.

First crystal lemon was ready yesterday (must have known it was my birthday) this one isn’t it it’s another from today I didn’t see yesterday. I just ate yesterday’s I forgot to photograph it!

Patty pan pale green 0 all female flowers just fell of no fruit so dissapointing

Tamra slicing cucumber 4+2 with another 2 almost ready I’m thinking I may let one of my plants go to seed soon as there’s only me that eats them although I have pickled some!

On a side note some of my winter squash are now starting to set squashes hoping they get to the point of ripening!

I harvested a couple unpollinated fruits before but today harvested 1 soleil and 2 green bush. I'm excited!

One more of each today, rather larger than the last ones.

And I pretty much fell in love today with a pumpkin that's now just larger than an average cantaloupe. He has a little buddy on the other vine. I hope nothing happens to them because I'm very slightly obsessed.

Haven't really kept tally since my last post 3 weeks ago.

But I reckon another 20-25 courgettes since then, both a unspecified round variety and black beauty. Which brings it up to a total of 35-40 courgettes.

Also another 7 cucumbers. Though sadly I have to accept by now that I've mixed up my seeds and by mistake must have given away all my lemon crystal seeds. Still, the Wautomas are doing very well.
