                      Those carrots were sown last autumn in pots of reused potting compost jazzed up a bit with some blood fish and bone. They grew really slowly all winter and a bit faster for the last couple of months in my polytunnel.
                      No carrot fly which is usually a problem for me even in the tunnel.
                      They had a great flavour (?due to slow growth) and I’m definitely doing it again this autumn. Hoping for a reasonably mild winter.
                      I’ll reuse the compost from the early potatoes in pots.
