Anfew winter lettuce leaves from the gh.
Now I need to look up mangel wurzel. Sounds like it’s worth growing just for the name!

Swiss Chard

Yesterday - Kohlrabi,which overwintered Ok. Spring cabbage, Leeks.

It's a type of beet, quite large and often grown as a fodder crop. We eat them chopped into chunks and roasted with other root veg, they are a lot like beetroot but sweeter and they don't stain everything purple.

Come back from a weekend away. Badgers have harvested last year leeks and this years shallots
