Looks like we will be sowing at roughly the same time
I too have been on the seedhunt, turns out that I don't have any rootstock seeds after all, I've just ordered some, hopefully they will be here soon!

Im going to sow seeds in staggers to try and see if I can find the closest stem size possible to the graft when the time comes. So some tomatoes seeds about a week before sowing the grafts, some at the same time, and some a week after

update, have only just managed to sow any seeds.Today I sowed the rootstock seeds and tomatoes seeds at the same time. The packet says to sow the rootstock about a week before the normal tomatoes seeds. So I will also sow another lot of tomatoes seeds in about a week.

You can never have too many tomatoes

What variety are you going to use to graft on?

My root stocks are in....I have loads of toms in varying stages but I need to plant some more. Just wondering what you are going to graft on?

Im using estamino rootstock seeds, I've sown 6
The tomatoe seeds that I've sown so far to choose from for grafting onto the rootstock are: Cristal, Outdoor girl, Ferline, Ailsa Craig, San Marzano, Red pear (beef), Money maker and Alicante

As you can probably tell I have too many to choose from

              How about you Scarlet?

Ive been watching other peoples videos online. I need to get some clips or tape, totally forgot to get it, must get asap

Do you know if you will be using tape or clips?or something else?

I've got two clips - xmad present from NG
                    The others will be tape.

To be fair - I've read nothing I'm doing it now! So mine might not be ready yet

                    I will be back.
