Let them grow this year and give them a feed. When the foliage has died down dig them up and split the clump into single bulbs and replant them spaced out a bit. They may not produce many flowers next year but the year after you will have a good show. I've got some clumps of daffodils in the grass verge in front of the house that haven't been touched for over 35 years and flower quite profusely. They are not coming up yet but I might post a picture when they do. I've been meaning to split them up for the last 25 years but not quite got round to it yet.
