Walk in!! You can't even crawl in
Find yourself some sheets of normal printer paper. Spread them out inside the house itself, don't overlap the pages. Then tell us how many pieces of paper you can fit in.


OK, its dark and you can't do it now!! A hen in a battery cage has approximately the same amount of floorspace as a sheet of paper. If you can fit 8 sheets of paper in, that's battery cage dimensions.

This is the type of spring feeder I use.

I bought the spring and made my own. Rather than legs its suspended from the run roof and i can adjust the height.
