Got more done in the garden this afternoon as we only had one shower.
My beans are up these last few days.
Pattypan squashes and tomatoes coming along nicely.

mothhawk, thank you for the Paul McKenna Utube idea. I came to bed at about 11pm last night and at 11.30 I snuggled down and listened to him on my phone. Amazingly I drifted off to sleep before the end. I slept for three and a half hours. Since then I've listened to the tape again and although I was hopeful it didn't send me back to sleep. Never mind. Usually at this time of the morning I've had no sleep. I think I might get up now, make a coffee and read a book for a while. I do feel relaxed and rested.

I can see daylight trying to sneak around the edge of my thick curtains. Sunrise is in 4 minutes time, although the forecast for today is mostly rain.

Just heading off to town so I thought I’d say hi before I do. Hope to get a grory hop in at the same time.
I’ll be leaving the crutches in the car, but my recovery in the past week is amazing, so fingers crossed I can manage without them! Just got to pace myself…I know, but that doesn’t come naturally to me…I’m a ‘200% or nothing’ sort of lass

Anyone want anything whilstI’m out? I’m going to an amazing patisserie for bread….

morning all,rain here,glad you got some rest GF,makes all the difference lass,dentist today,will find out exactly what work is needed,and a rough idea what will leave the bank ,NHS is is still expensive,i noticed when i paid private several years ago,it was that or nothing,you were given appointments easily,and no not kept waiting,then is tea dance later on,i only have a little waltz,as neither my body or me like the line dancing,apart from anything else,i cannot remember the routines,i am a free style around the hand bag girl,when my body allows these days,the main thing is we are out meeting others,stay safe and well all,anyone got itchy toes yet from the rain,(changing into ducks,quack quack)

The youngest visitors left this morning, so I'm having a bit of a lazy afternoon. Their dad is still here, but I think he's doing the same. In fact, I think a nap is in order.

Good afternoon.

I had planned being out and about today doing various bits and bob today. The weather, however, had other ideas. Torrential rain so far today with a short spell of hailstones. At least the wind has dropped.

There are lots of jobs that I could be doing but I seem to have lost my motivation .... and I can't be bothered finding it!

I'm going to move some ripe bananas to the kitchen worktop, where they will hopefully nudge me, eventually, into making banana loaves. It's hardly a long, hard job, made even easier as I've got greaseproof liners for the loaf tins. (I used to hate lining baking tins).

If anyone sees some lost looking motivation floating around, it is mine. Please send it home!

afternoon all,am very pleased to say,they said no need to remove,then went to work on them,buit them back up,no injections needed,the tooth the other dentist tried and failed to get out causing the pain,does not need to come out,at the moment as its fine,i have to go back next week to see how i am getting on with the newly built up ones,the charge was the standard seventy something quid,so i am happy so far,i know i will have to have them done again as time goes on,they do wear down,but still require a set of new dentures to fill the spaces,maybe NOW have to be more aware off what i munch on,thanks for your kindness easing my nerves,at least i am releived of sore gums on account off teeth digging in the gums ,hope you have gone on ok Nicos with your noisy scan,i also enjoyed my little waltz this afternoon without the nerves giving me alleluya,have a good evening all ,GF a few more better sleeps will help,maybe it's you boddy and mind telling you to take things a bit easier,i know that symptom,just embrace it lass
