Well the time has come, the foliage had fallen over, they were as big as they were going to get.
The smallest was just under 2lbs whilst the largest was just under 4lbs and I am dead chuffed.
TK has shown me his pics and he will see this post (bit of a lurker my mate TK). I think its going to be a draw but you never can tell.
One thing for sure thanks to the Vine and AP in particular I've learnt more about growing onions this year than in the previous 25. So a big THANKS to everyone.

Well here we are another 11 days on and they are still growing I am glad to say. The largest one now has a girth of some 14", whether that good bad or indifferent I don't know. But so far I am a happy bunny.
