Just been to the Moneysupermaket site and it says 200% Extra Free Food.

Last month was double, but this time it states triple but not including snacks.

So I've sent them an email asking if biscuits, sweets and dips are including in the offer.

I already have loads of tins from the double offer last month. Lots of stuff now out of stock, so the offer is attracting plenty of orders.

So have I but tins last a fair few years so luckily I have plenty of room under the bed to store it all.

I've just received this reply: "No snacks are in the offer just food but we do have choc dips on bye 1 case get 2 free code is on our ste under coupons".

I've also emailed and asked if savoury dips and hot choc were classed as snacks. This is the reply:

"dips are classed as snacks sorry, tea, coffee, sugar, chocolate, biscuits and dips are all snacks"

When you see the link at Moneysupermarket it says 200% extra on Food, doesn't say anything there about not including snacks.

People will click on that and expect 2 extra of each on all edible goods.

I have ordered mainly tins and jars of sauces etc but I could have been a new customer who may have ordered lots of chocolates and snacks etc.

My order was worth placing just for the extra beans, soup and Sharwoods curry sauces.



I think mine is due to arrive tomorrow, I shall see what arrives then.

I have just seen the bit about not including cleaning stuff and snacks but you have to click on the more info button to see that.

I think those details should be included on the original voucher code page as I for one just clicked on the Use Now button.

Ok, received my order today but I don't think I will be ordering from them again or at least for a while.

My last order had smashed jars of curry sauce as they were only wrapped in paper and carboard in there. I complained and got my money back for the damaged goods. I was told they would get it sorted with the packers.

Out of my 9 jars of sauce that arrived today I have TWO that are useable. The other 5 have curry down the sides of the jars even though they aren't broken, one has the lid hanging off and another has a blown lid!

Think I will go back to Approved food for a while.

Got caught out on coffee and sugar (not on special offer of x3 or x2) - but when I look at what I've got for my overall spend - happy? you bet I am! Thanks for that triple code.

Boxes looked a bit ropey compared to AF - but at least the weight was split among more lighter boxes. The delivery blokes at DPD always complain every time I get an order from AF -as if that's MY fault.

30 tins of lentils & bacon
3 x 500gr batter mix
...and 1 twin pack of jaffa cakes
total weight 78 kilos
total cost including a small tip to the TNT deliver people (They were far too nice and smiley even after their second attempt to deliver ).... an efty � 20.00.
Well the days are getting shorter. Nature and gardeners do deserve a rest, larder is over full including home made wine. Plenty of baking and curries etc will see us trough the winter....without forgetting this forum

150 x Risotto Rice
30 x Mushy Peas
30 x Baked Beans
12 x Meatballs in Onion Gravy
6 x 3.5kg Pizza Flour
6 x 1kg Granary Bread Flour

As it was buy 1 get 2 free, I paid �18.01 including delivery.

Guys only managed to read the first page of this wonderful post so someone may have suggested this but if you have kids, grandkids, neices, nephews, neihbours kids - they will all probaly be going to harvest festivals in the next couple of weeks or so so any food you dont think you will use then why not donates - I know ours is made into food parcels for the elderly folk in our village although they did sell it at the school gate one year with all the proceeds going to charity

Good News!

I placed my order a little while ago and thinking how we are doing a sterling job of recommending Big Brands For Less I rang to advise them where I had heard from them and cheekily suggested they might like to give the grapes their own little discount voucher

I have just been rung by Louise who advised me that I had used the wrong code durrr However the new offer is 100% - i.e. you get double what you have ordered and that she would apply it to my order anyways. I thought this was really good of them - looking forward to my parcel now!

With regards to my cheeky request, they are watching this thread for instructions on how to contact one of our lovely moderators so she can be given instructions on the best way for offering us something. She didnt want to post as it would seem like she was promoting the business which is prob against forum rules. So please could PW, Zaz, Sarz, Fi or Nicos reply on this thread with instructions for Louise as to how she can contact them

It is against forum rules; if she wants to contact the Admin team; go to the front page of the forum and at the bottom is 'forum leaders' click on that and choose Sara and she should get a response from her. It's not the Moderators who allow this, we just monitor and refer to the admin team.

All depends if the discount code/s is kept up to date.

As in, many of us were already customers and made use of the BOGOF last month, yet it was only because someone else spotted an even better offer on another site, that we were able to benefit even more this month.

The improved offer was not mentioned on the weekly/monthly update they send out, so unless we are always informed of the new and improved offers, then having a fixed code on this site will not benefit us as customers.
