Morning Crew, no morning watering allotment visit for me today, SWMBO finally got her disabled badge and she wants to use it to go shopping this morning, when she finally surfaces. Umm that makes her sound like a submarine

Good morning. Have just taken Hollie dog round to the vets. She’s been very lethargic recently which I might have put down to the hot weather but for her bad temper, clumsiness, falling down the stairs etc. She had blood tests yesterday and been called back in this morning for more tests. The vet thinks there is something wrong with her liver.

So i’m Not going very far today. I need a top up shop and I have some garden jobs to do to keep my mind occupied.

Mornings, hot in the sun today but there's quite a cool breeze to go with it.
Watering the garden plants today, although I'm on a meter shan't bother with the lawn though, that's yellow already The hydrangeas are really struggling, though, so can't leave them dry any longer.

If it stays coolish, I'm going to try to get the swede bed on the plots, ready for planting - that'll take a few bucketfuls as well.

Hope we get some rain soon.....

Morning, a lot cooler and a lot less sunny here although it was warm last night. Supermarket shopping for me today and then some ironing...yes that pile is still there but we are running out of clothes, clean bedding etc so really need to tackle it. Some of it has been there so long it's having to be washed again...oops!

Good afternoon, had to take my car for its first service this morning, got a run into town had a look round, but never bought anything, which I suppose will be a surprise to most of you now watching my grandsons, and sitting watching YouTube showing the ten healthiest veg to grow, which makes me wonder as my raised beds are on concrete where do the plants get all their minerals from? I think I will post that question as a threshing the veg forum

Just sitting in the conservatory having a cup of tea and a lovely moth has landed on my bamboo, went out and got a photo of it, its really very nice but no doubt next week I will be moaning about all the caterpillers on my plants, but here's a photo of it

The promised rain never arrived yesterday but it was a tad cooler. Mix of sun and cloud at the moment and quite pleasant sat on the patio. I have shopping today before I am allowed out to play

Very hot and bothersome here. Mr Snoop is just heading out to pick up our post. One of the cats has joined me in the basement. Just as well it's not one of the dogs, as I'm not best pleased with them. Having run out of ripe tomatoes to steal off the plants, they're now setting about the green ones.

Other than that, more work and more lurking in the cool of the basement.
