Morning all. Very cold and windy here. Had to keep a good grip on the kids walking them up to school.
I have got to go and see my mom and dad today. He went for some tests yesterday and has to go and see his specialist again in a couple of weeks.

Horrible day here low clouds and freezing brrr, i cannot even see the mountains, we even have a small chance it might have a scattered shower at 7pm
Busy day got to go to town, bank, market, medical centre, supermarket etc etc

Morning...it's a stormy one too! High winds and rain...the remnants of storm Jonas I believe! Supermarket today as the cupboards are bare. Think I may have a slow puncture, have inflated the tyre so will wait and see if it stays inflated or it's a trip to the tyre guys!

Just looked it up, wow that was a big one luckily no one has died.
We are a lot higher up, Almeria region, but in-between Almeria and Murcia, only just inside the borders of Andalucia.

I hope it all settles down Lisa. We are going to be in Andalucia next week so fingers crossed.

Good morning all. Rain, and gales here this morning and through the night.Sitting here listening to the banging upstairs as the carpet is being laid.
Hopefully after this I can start getting back to normal. Its amazing how much disruption can be caused just by getting one room decorated.

Back from town, oh thats horrible on market day I went to the seedlings stalls but did not buy anything i could have but i do not need to add anymore just at the moment.

Large cuppa i think now, shall i make a pot?

well the day brightened up here and I've been out and up on the roof, pointing the chimney stack. Also painted the brickwork at the back of the house. I normally wouldn't dream of painting brickwork but someone did it before we bought the house and it sorely needed freshening up. I'd put money on it her ladyship won't like the colour but at least it will do as an undercoat and repainting will be a dawdle

Didn't have much hair left before the Grandkids arrived this morning.....I have even less now!

Very windy here today. The tree surgeons at work started out cutting down some very big trees from the top branches, but then resorted to cutting from the bottom - I guess because of the wind. We all thought it was to make way for another new building, but it seems it's to clear the way for the air ambulance as it approaches the helipad. It's right behind our building, so that should be interesting. It reminded me of Chick when I saw the trunks being sawed into circles!
