I'm not having that problem right now..............

In summer however...keep the curtains closed to keep the heat out. Work early and late. Hide in the middle of the day.

Last summer with the fires, I was wearing a wet towel or scarf around my neck all the time. It did really help. And drink lots of fluids.

My husband and I achieved three between us so I guess that means I got one and a half!

I scored 5, but most were lucky guesses

Happy that our school trip to the Great Yorkshire Show was blessed with cloud most of the day so we didn't have to add sunstroke to the risk assessment

A couple of years ago the OH invested in solar panels, which are great. As a result of getting solar energy he talked about getting a heat exchanger installed, to a) cool us in summer and b) to give a bit of warmth before the central heating kicks in. I was sceptical, and cited the 'big boys toys' card. He went ahead anyway. I take it all back, coming into a really cool house having had the aircon on all day, after the heat of the garden is luxurious and solar is still making us a profit! Howzat?

I got 2, which is the most likely score with the random answers I selected.

Now that's exactly how I felt after a bit of mowing, and moving the big wooden table and chairs. Now back inside with a bottle of cold water, and the fan on full speed. I've even given the dogs an ice cube each to play with.

never thought I would be one to start whining about warm weather after that awful winter we had but - I can't do anything in this weather - too hot! So want a good thunder storm to clear the air!!
