  • Adult chocolate cake - Almonds, butter, double cream, eggs, 90% cocoa solids dark chocolate, Chilli flakes, tequila. The chocolate alone amounts to 1200 calories, pure unadulterated unhealthy fun.

    • A huge corporation having a comprehensive troubleshooting guide on the website, then an option for them to phone you if you can't figure out what's wrong, a helpful techie to try to solve the problem, and when that fails, a replacement item offered to be sent out free of charge, despite it being well out of warranty.

A refreshing approach to customer service - I wonder if it will catch on?

                • Saw a female greater spotted woodpecker in the garden today - I was chuffed 'cos I didn't think she'd still come since 24 houses were built on the field between me and the spinney. She was chipping the insects out of the suet/insect feed ball to take away, so she must have babies. Ace!

                    • I have a cleaning job at our primary school and today when I was sweeping the stairs I found a very sad looking queen wasp, she was all covered in fluff and not moving. So I got a cup and a piece of card and scooped her up and put her out on the wall by a flowerbed, I even pulled the fluff off her and tipped some water on the wall which she licked up. I was bent over the wall just amazed at her beautiful markings and saying "hope you feel better soon queenie!" when a lady asked me if I was feeling ok! I had to laugh and tell her what I was doing!

Actually I was feeling great because the wasp was looking much happier and when I looked later she had gone

                          • Bay'ers who go out of their way to help. I let the BH help me with labelling and he got two back to front. Two ladies then received each others cardigans this morning. Both ladies have gone out of their way to post the parcels to each other, to save them being posted back to me and then posted out again. I've just refunded them the postage plus a wee bit for helping.

Absolute bloomin' stars, both of them! Restores your faith in human nature!

                            • That happened to me Jules. I offered to send mine direct to the other Lady, but she'd already requested a refund. Stroppy tart. I sent mine back for replacement, but the seller refunded me, too, by mistake. Ho hum.
