One greek basil - one normal basil...a perennial plant and another exotic, unnamed plant.

...........all trying to survive on a 30% sloped windowsill

Thanks for the insparation VC,found some bits down the lottie,am not expecting anything, then i can be overjoyed if succesfull, not many arm pits, sooo, are trying stem cuttings on a few toms,i reason that,a decapitaed tom will shoot when planted,i have several scatalon in the grow barn already rooted, directly into the soil, back to the window sill,i am trying my luck with 2 of shoots of a cue, plus several alberto lacoto, some from 1 stem, and some have left a bit of stem each side, nothing ventured, nothing gained,
The thought of continuing the F1's,without buying more seed, will be a result,if this can be carried over to next year, then mabe some rooted F1 for the seed/plant swap,
sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these

We have flat leaved parsley and some trays with green tomatoes slowly ripening. Not much space in my little kitchen window and plants have to complete with the lunch box flask and the tablets we take each morning. However, in my dining room I have sweet pepper plants, spider plants, chives, some more trays of tomatoes and a few seeds drying on paper towels.

I know this is old but I love these trivia threads.

Right now, my kitchen windowsill (which I have a bit of a mania for keeping fairly uncluttered), sports the compost trug, a squirty thing of Oilatum for hand-washing, washing-up liquid, the kettle I burnt out earlier , a pair of secateurs out of reach of my 4 yr old, handwash for normal people, and an old tupperware with milk bottle tops and lolly sticks in it.
Is there anything that isn't made better by half an hour pottering in the veg patch?
