Hi not been around for a while but I thought I would drop in and say hello to you all. Hope you all had a great summer and veggie crops of your dreams

Hi Stella, always lovely to see you. Are you back in London for a while now? My crops have been a bit depleted this year, mainly due to snugs (snails and slugs) and the bloomin' awful weather. Luckily plenty of courgettes and runner beans and I'm hoping plenty of tomatoes if I can get them to ripen!

Back into the land of the internet and the UK later this month. Garden looks like a jungle but surprisingly some things have done well on neglect. Parsnips, spinach, beetroot all produced loads

Great to be welcomed back by you all, It was boiling in Italy for a while 56 degrees all crops burnt to death. We could not venture out between 10 am and 5pm. Not a drop of rain for 3 months and the grape harvest was reduced, looking forward to some rain (I know I know).....lol

Hi Stella.... I'm quite a new grape, only 3 months and still on the breast (when I'm allowed).

Where in Italy do you have a place? I love Italy as a whole and have travelled quite extensively throughout the country in my line of work as a coach driver.

I'm also not that far from South London as I live just outside Brighton

Hi in Italy we are near a town called Albisola which is near Savona. We bought a bit of scrub land and found a neglected vineyard!!!! You can read more on my blog which I have just started:
