If I had a car with guns on it, the M4 this morning would have been cleared of about 6 cars.

Even worse are the ones who line themselves up with your rear bumper and proceed to match your speed...even guts under the bonnet can't deal with them :stomps:

Do I want the telly at 10? Even though it's extra time? Am I staying on the computer? No I'm bladdy well not. I'm up at half five in the morning so I will only watch what I've recorded for an hour anyway. Bladdy football.

Oh and while I'm on one - on Saturday night, eldest Golden Girl told Himself "We're watching Breaking Dawn with Nanny tonight Grandad, but we'll put it on at 9 so you can watch the first half of the football down here, but you'll have to go to bed to watch the second half". He did. We've been married 40 years and he has never, ever, watched the football at home anywhere except in his chair in the lounge. Developers and Coventry City Council........
So you've shut off most of the road........we have access from one end only . So wouldn't it make sense to finish that bit and reopen it before you work on our end. We;ll have no parking and no access. We were promised it'd be sorted before work commenced but the council want the road done as soon as. No I will not park on the other side of a dual carriageway......No I will not park in your secure compound and either do a 20 min walk round the roads OR a late night walk through an unlit tree and hedge lined area , then struggle to unlock a security gate in the dark .... No I will not park in the local office block as they obviously haven't got enough room for their staff to park....and finally No I cannot get three cars up the back entry and into the garage as there is not enough room to swing a cat let alone swing into a garage.
Complaint logged at the council , e-mails gone to councillors, developers, contractors etc.......

the touchscreen stopped working on my crappy 2ndhand 15 quid phone, so yesterday I bought one that most closely resembled it.
I put my old sim in, and it recognises the number, but it wont load my contacts. I download new software for it, because the old software doesnt recognise the new shiny phone. The new software fails to work. I update the new software. It changes the settings for my whole computer, including chagning my browser settings and add-ons....
I import my contacts I saved to a csv file, wrong file type, won't load contacts. Open up old software to redo contact export, won't open now because new software is installed.
System restore computer to use old software and export settings again...install new software, software doesn't work, update software....

                  REALLY??? cue exploding taff.........

BBC1 and ITV1 both showing the same bloody football match, at the same time! We're not all ruled by the bloody game, you know!

                      • I am down to the very last teaspoonful of last year's Gooseberry Jelly. It's THE reason I grow gooseberries. I chose a lovely variety to give me a red glow to the jelly.

The jar was marked 'June 2011'.

So why aren't 2012's anywhere near ready yet? How AM I going to survive without it>

                            • Bladdy unsociable joggers.

I've been training for the GNR for a couple of months now, on grass, by myself.

Today I decided to 'hit the road'

Each jogger I met I said 'good morning' to

How many replies did I get.....zilch...ditto.....bugger all!

Since when did joggers cease to partake in good manners?

Is jogging now a snobs game?

Bladdy cyclists weren't much better either...grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
