Oh, I'm so glad! Everything crossed for you AP.

Like VC I didn't want to rub salt in the wound, but I've been wracking my brains thinking how we might help. So glad to hear this!

Best of luck AP, hope it turns out well....
You could just go straight thru the roundabout to cut down travelling time

I try not to do depression but clearing my plots is a depressing business. My pal in the plot above had already offered to let me have a bit of his plot to grow my onions in so that was good especially since they are needing planted out. Sheds are virtually clear now though so that is positive. Greenhouses to dismantle next and then the tunnel and then it's moving fruit bushes into pots

whoops, should have said, on a private local site where the rent is less than a third of that charged by the Council. Downside is that I have to go around the notorious Haudagain roundabout to get to it but I can suffer that

First bright light for me after spending some depressing time clearing my Council plots. All the stuff I've hoarded for years for that moment when it would be needed has had to be thrown out to the tip or burned. Anyway, the bright moment is I've been told there are a couple of plots that have newly become available this week and I'm going along to have a look see this weekend. I really don't care what state they are in. I've taken on disaster areas in the past and got them into tip top condition so nothing to fear in that respect. Fingers crossed folks.

Sorry you lost the battle AP, after committing so much time and effort to it. Another nail in the coffin of gardeners everywhere.
