Don't start counting the sleeps yet then Let us hope that the Council come to their senses before the date
Have a couple of days off from this, clear your head and get back into the real world. I'd like to promise you some sunshine but I can't, sorry

I think a sherrif is the equivalent of a magistrate? i.e. a lay person. Perhaps the sherrif is just trying to give you a level playing field. Good luck and I hope you don't have to wait too long to resolve it all.

Good man,you are deffo winning this ,I know writing it all down is going to be a lot of work for you but on the plus side,it will be searchable in the future by others in much the same manner as the documents that you have looked at to formulate your case,so all in all it will be a good reference point for future cases.

They're running scared I tell you and it's not the threat of my gun (although I am a better shot with a bow and arrow). More work AP, but it'll all be worth it in the end. Glad to see you published in the August magazine, that might be a little help. You could always go national!

Bladdy hell AP, It's a good job you're a determined bloke. I think it is just delay tactics & they are most likely hoping you will submit...........Yeh, that sounds about right........Good luck pal.

Poor you, AP. They really are stringing this out.
However, Written representations put you and the City Solicitor on an equal footing and should act in your favour as there will be no chance of them springing any surprises late in the day as they have been trying to do. More work for you, but you know your case already as we've read it here. We could just sign the Sheriff up on the Vine and ask him to read this thread! Job done - you win!
Is there a date for the submission?

More work for you AP Mind you, I expect you have more of your case in writing already than the Council have.

Oh drat AP. This drags it out for you again. Still, you live to fight another day and we all think you will win in the end.

adjourned again. Sheriff seemed to be totally overwhelmed by the verbal representations and has now asked for everything to be submitted in writing.
