I am gutted for you AP.

Let's hope your councillor says more than his prayers.

Oh AP, that is not good news. After all the hard work you put in and the Sheriff's previous comments. Bloody minded council at work.

Council want rid of someone who was prepared to stand up to them. I've emailed my local Councillor who is leader of the ruling group on the Council and reminded him that he said they would not allow me to be evicted. Council Officers can just laugh at the politicians which is a sad reflection

Really sorry to hear that, AP.

It all sounded so positive but just goes to show that you never really can tell.

Right guys. At resumed hearing today, despite everything that was said by the Sheriff Principal at the last hearing, he rejected my appeal and I will have to surrender my allotments.

The bottom line is that in Scotland, a Local Authority can give 12 months notice to an allotment tenant for no reason irrespective of how far they are in the wrong about rent and about any other factors.

    I am gutted.

    No need AP.

There is a thread in the chicken fanciers section that is doing that for you

    Fingers crossed

Hi AP, is there any update to this yet?

I was telling my dad about the hassles you have had the other day.

Ta matey. I'm as confident as ever I've been. Just trying not to be overly so.
