I have a to do list which is the same for every morning and I try to do before any fun things (like lottie etc) .....Goes like this....
    Feed the dog
    Walk the dog
    clear the garden
    feed the birds
Take dry washing off airer, fold and deposit in airing cupboard
Put dry stuff from airing cupboard in relevant bedroom
Empty WM and hang washing up
    shake dog bedding outside
    Sweep the floors
    Empty the dw
Depending on whether I have work or not the list is interspersed with cups of coffee
Sometimes its like I'm living in Groundhog Day
S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig
a batch of jam is always an act of creation ..Christine Ferber

Love the idea of using coffee as punctuation!

I just need to get on top of things Binley, then too I aspire to have a list like yours.
I have been really good with the bathroom and my kitchen drawers...I sorted them and made perfect on Boxing Day, so now every day, my bathroom is the first job. And as for the kitchen drawers, I smile each time I put away a matching pot and lid.

Danger of me becoming OCD yet!

Di this is a great thread but I only just found it so I am too late for today!
I did walk up to school first thing and stayed till lunchtime so that was a morning well spent. I also noticed that I was slightly quicker walking there and arrived less puffed out than previous visits, so that is a good sign.
Tomorrow then the target is to get the sink cleared and nice and shiny and the dining table clear - before sitting down to an hour's paperwork - all before 12 noon.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I have the morning - well, a fair bit of it - mostly to myself tomorrow. I might get started on the little roman blind for the downstairs loo. The blinds I made for our bedroom, eleven years ago, have to be replaced as one ripped today, so I might have to spend some time on ebay looking for fabric.......

By 10am I will have hoovered downstairs. By 10:30 I will be shopping having given the pooches a wee wee walk.
By noon I will have sown my spring onions.
By 12:30 I will have lunch and light a fire.

Right...by 11:00, I'll have shaken off this crappy mood.

                        Then, by 1:00 I will

                        a)clean bathroom

b)have just one huge pile of paperwork instead of little piles here there and everywhere.

c)discover my living room carpet that seems to have disappeared

d)wash up and wipe my kitchen work tops

Three more minutes to go, then the radio will be banging out hits from the 80's and I'll be skipping with my feather duster

OK It didn't quite go to plan as I decided to clean the bathroom first and yes it gets done daily!
So I have dusted and polished everything downstairs, hoovered all downstairs, watered all tomatoes, peppers, citrus, overwintering stuff. Now to work the dogs and go into town for what you would call lunch and I would have to call brunch. Reckon I've earned it.

Well, I think the living room was maybe a little over ambitious...I was going to take a 'before' pic to prove what a mammoth task it was (is) but Andi borrowed the camera. Possibly being a bit too particular but want to get it done properly this time, as opposed to hiding stuff behind chairs and then against walls when the behind chair space is full.

Anyway, I have got a sparkling kitchen and bathroom...and polished loo

Stopping for a cuppa and then off to feed the chooks before getting back into it...told my mum a little white lie when she asked how my day was going and unenthusiastically said 'so, so'...they're popping round later so that's a little incentive to keep going, they'll be expecting to step over clutter to get to a cluttered chair to squeeze onto
