The debate - android thingy vs kindle - was still going strong over breakfast in our house. We started with ourselves, BH, me and a great uncle versus the visitors. This morning the very techy young ones got involved too.....and they are very much on my gadget-geek brother's side. Apparently, the more functions/buttons/ports/confusion a thing has the better.....
BH still wants a kindle, but one with a full qwerty. I'd like an Android-run tablet. I like the thought that I can be sneakily reading books whilst supposedly working! (And looking like I'm working and concentrating hard....)

99p a book until 6th Jan
. My OH had loaded some books on to the tablet for me, but the interface was hard to use, the wifi was rubbish (unless you sat right next to the box!), and I found it really awkward to hold.
