Every time I am prescribed something I discover a sensitivity to it!! Diclofenac made me constantly nauseous, naproxen turned me into a basket case, have never known anxiety like it - sorted out the poorly foot though, so stuck with it to end of the course! Zopiclone caused the most amazing mood swings...will know never to have any of those again.
I always have a good decongestant in the house for if my sinuses get blocked because the headaches they give me are on a par with migraines.
Soluble aspirin - if I take these early enough when a migraine is threatening, they can usually stop it in its tracks...co-codamol if I'm too late with the aspirin...
Paracetamol/calpol..very good for bringing high temps down.
Ibuprofen for anyone's aches and pains.
Simple linctus for sore throats etc.
Try to drink plenty so that I don't get headaches as a result of dehydration and try to get enough fresh air too.
