"Well, what do you think of my shiney smooth legs then Ladies?" he winked, whilst raising a trouser leg, "That waxing didn't hurt a bit! Well, that's what I told the others ha ha!"

He hurried off in the direction of the kitchen, grabbing a lonely looking female on route ....

"Ollie put the stripper down" demanded Flum, we'll have no shenanigans while I'm here....

"Is this the Gardeners' Rest?" called annacruachan as she sailed her small red boat neatly alongside the little fergie, making fast on its seat. "What's been going on here? You all look a tad......

" .... worse for wear." She pulled up a stool near the bar, "Any of that scrummy PeaPod Wine left from last year?" She asked eagerly.

Suddenly fergie's hydraulic system sprang to life, as Snadger emerged from behind, wiping his brow.

"Don't make off with my boat!" shrieked anna as she waded somewhat disorientated through the rising flood waters.
"It's alright," said Snadger, "I'm only testing her engine, not going anywhere."
At that moment a brilliant searchlight shone full in their faces and a smart police launch came up beside them.
"I'm afraid you are!" came a shout from a burly copper. "You're wanted down at the station. There's been a......... "

"Any old how..." said Ollie... ( darn those peskie tmnsis turn up every where)...." just look at my shaving rash...I wish I'd had my left leg waxed"...snagging his very bestist silk hankie on his stubble.....as he rushed to anna's side...quick quick...we're needed at the station...

"Not so fast!" Flum appeared at the pub door accompanied by Jeanie who was waving a bottle in a seductive way.
"You can't just break up the party like that." Flum was wet to her knees and trying, without much success, to stand on the bootscraper. Jeanie was not afraid of water; she waded to the launch and smiled blearily at the three policemen, two of whom were obviously fit. "Try some of this!" she cried and handed over the large bottle of limoncello as she tied the launch to the seat of Snadger's tractor.

'Do you know, I think we're going to have to start bailing very soon...are the pompiers still here?' said HayleyB. The Pompiers rushed to her side and began to form a bucket chain. Just then...

"So this is where all the noise is coming from" said the Chief inspector.

"Quick..grab em ladies" said ginger "looks like more volunteers for leg waxing to me"
The sceen that followed was more like a sceen from "Benny Hill" than "Harry Hill".
