                    Thank you guys.
                    It was a very small service (an elite group of mourners you might say, just 8 of us), and I'm afraid I kind of fell apart a bit during Ollie's poem, but I got through, and everyone says they heard every word - that's the important bit. The celebrant said she loved incorporating our stories of Ninny's life into her speech, and she said Ollie's poem was lovely and one she had never heard before.

                    We had a meal at a local hotel afterwards and raised a glass in Ninny's memory.

                            Sounds like a lovely 'send off' - what more could she have asked? Well done for getting through it. I did a reading at my Dad's funeral. It's harder than people think!
