Oooooh - I wish I'd seen this thread ealier. I love new and interesting words. Plus someone else likes mendacious as a description!

My favourite ever scrabble word is quincunx - any arrangement of 5 items in a square with one in the middle. I managed to get it into an onion-related post back in January too! Although I guess that doesnt count.

Keep going guys - I cant wait to see what else you come up with. Anatidaephobia! Classic.

Perhaps I've been subconciously trying to think of ways to describe your boss all this time.
