Have you checked whether there's any problems with your internet provider?...we had similar problems to you last week...after convincing ourselves we'd either got a virus or a very tired computer AOL finally came clean & said the problems were with them!!...they didn't tell me when I asked on day one!!

No, haven't cheked that. However, we are with the local monopoly - karoo. You can't get anything else here because the phone lines are owned by Kingston Communications. They reckon they WILL lease the lines to other providers, but they charge so much no-one will take them up on it! It could possibly be that, I suppose. Must ask around.

AOL didn't fess up until they'd got te problem sorted,so you'll probably get a more direct/honest answer from others that use the same....Good Luck!(how's Flum?)

She sent me a business-type card in a recent seed swap - when I get home from work I'll see if it has an email address on it I can use. If not, maybe we should ask the mods on her behalf - they will have access to her email address, even if we don't.

UPDATE - I emailed Two_Sheds and she is just taking some time out from the computer to get some chores done before the gardening season really gets frantic - can't say I blame her!
