Sounds like it needs amputating Lynda!
Remember when you were little & used to pick the scabs off your knees? Well don't do that now! Try & keep it clean & don't keep kneeling down on the floor to see to the chicks/cat/rabbit/dog etc.!
      Good luck at the docs.

Glad to hear you're going to see the doc, Lynda - those beautiful pins must be in top form for the growing season.

sober at a party isn't a good look though lol

well i found some gauze squares in my medicine box, so the loo roll now just absorbs the stuff that leaks through them stuck to it ...... but at least the gauze doesn't leave bits behind

yeah, it does help, and is antiseptic, but doesn't kill the good cells ..... and gotta get rid of the green stuff lol

Didn't they supply a load of dressings? I would be inclined to head for A&E and see what they say. Antibiotics are okay but good dressing is very important too.

(I have never found a little bit of alcohol to be bad when on antibiotics)

I was thinking along the same lines as you Shirley. A&E may want to x-ray it too just in case the joint is damaged.
