Quality is deffo on rugby leagues side. League is a fast non stop game so the players have to be lithe and muscular. Rugby union forwards have to be big (and dare I say it, sometimes FAT......fat equals cellulite!!!) so they can fall against the opposition and push them forward.

League tackle around the neck and union tackle arouind the legs.

I used to play rugby union but enjoy watching a non stop rugby league game!

not quite, i don't DO soccer thighs, can't abide prima donnas, chicken thighs i can at least feed to the cats.
league first, union second, chicken third, soccer sux, but thats based purely on a thigh basis, not the game itself.

Rugby is better to watch than soccer, my objection is i don't 'get' the rules, i live darn sarf, i have had soccer drummed into me, i get it, don't like it.

I said thighs............you cant see above thighs only thighs......I bet.....Rugby league,football,chicken,union (was going to throw in ostrich , but that would be silly!)

cos i am a weird female , cos apparently i understnd the offside rule and can, without trouble demostrate said rule, plus a pretty good offside trap, using salt , pepper and tomato ketchup

Re league v union, I loved watching and playing both in my younger days, and have to say that I always came off the pitch more knackered after playing league, although generally sorer after playing union.

PW I also bemoan the passing of "clearing out if they're on the wrong side." Even as a number 9 there were times when they needed to be told, nowadays you just cant, its so wrong.

Due to the defamatory nature of your comments about Rugby League I just want to say that if you come north of Derby we will know - your card is marked mate!

My husband says that any sport where men like to put their hands between each others thighs is highly dubious (hope Bride doesn't have a heart atttack when she sees this)
