just got my neighbour in, cos i was worried about calling for a heating engineer to come out to fix the boiler ....... and he took the radiator off, so i figured it was his fault ....... anyway, he came ....... looked fiddled ....... looked again and said ........ what's this switch for ...... dunno says i ...... didn't know there was a switch ......... he pressed the switch on, and erm ...... the heating started working lol ....... so that means i've been freezing for 3 days ....... and it was a switch ....... duhhhhh!!!!!

well i did say i don't usually use it lol ....... but it's getting lovely and warm, and i've just put an extra �20 on the gas so i can afford to use it while it's this cold ......

i am soooooo gonna print that and stick it on my wall lol ....... well how was i supposed to know ....... i'm not a plumbist ..... although he does feel all superior now, bless him ....... mind you he did just have to come and ask if i had a radiator bleed key for his own radiators ...... and i knew what that was and i had one ....... i think he likes living next to a numpty

Glad to hear you've got heating again, hopefully it's sorted now. Being cold in your own home is one of the most miserable things you can imagine, and I speak from experience

You've obviously had hassle and worries these past few days, so treat yourself: hot bath, decent meal, choccies, wine, lie - in, favourite magazine, or whatever; or all of them!

lol, it's nice and warm now, slowly my feet are thawing ...... just in time for the blizzards they have predicted for tonight lol ..... i have choccie, biccies, plenty of tea bags and milk, so i'm all sorted (just trying not to look at the meter whizzing round lol)
