Grim weather over here in (usually) tropical Suffolk.

Appallingly heavy hailstorm has damaged the lottie a bit. Courgette and squash leaves shredded and celery battered. Hopefully both will come back. Too late to restart celery, but still time to sow more courgettes and squash if needs be.

Spoke to someone out here yesterday who said they'd had hailstone yesterday too on the way here but not as big as that.

There's always some sort of destructive weather event every year, hopefully that's it and the rest of the summer will be calm.

The weather was mad for June aswell. It was like all the April showers saved up & thrown down,bucketfuls. Hope your plants recover & send out new leaves. Have you noticed brassica leaves growth spurt after thunder & lightning,the lightning helps with nitrogen absorption in the atmosphere or something
