Oh snoop our last lab was a branch dragger, she would find one in a forest and whack you from behind as she ran past.
This one though not a chance, too hard work.

Well the sun is shining, had another frost and I'm hoping it stays dry for a day of jobs outside including MrCG.

Any croissants left Nicos? just fancy one of them with lashings of butter and jam

Mr Snoop's helper is my helper today. Better go and show willing too.

As for Jack, he just dragged the branches back where they came from. Not at all helpful. Fortunately the helper has removed them.

We have a dry sunny start to the day, let’s hope it starts to dry the ground a bit!
No plans for me for the day…I read my Wallander book into the early hours too GF, just to find out the ending. Sort of regret that niw…*yawns

A sunny morning here so I'll be in the garden soon then a stroll to take a few jigsaws to the charity shop.
One of our dog was a hole digger he'd make his own or try to help whoever had the spade. He also liked riding in wheelbarrows not very handy when you're trying to use it.

Good afternoon.

Another night of very little sleep. I'm meeting up with extended family this afternoon at a pub not too far away. It is someone's birthday. I don't really want to go as I'm sure if somebody inadvertently says the wrong thing I'll just burst into tears, but I really should make an effort, even if only for an hour or so.

Both my sisters will be there. I've got a bag of books for one of them and a bag of jigsaws for the other.

Afternoon, dullish 11° today!
Managed a lunch out with an old school friend. We’ve know each other since we were 10 years old. It was lovely to catch up!
Nothing happening today though but having the second part of my shingles vaccination tomorrow so another sore arm. I feel like a pin cushion lol.
Lovely to see you back Nicos and so glad you had such a lovely holiday. You picked the perfect
time to visit Scotland too!

After this mornings sunshine the weather changed to dull and cold. Can’t moan the laundry was dry and I spent most of the afternoon in my GH pottering around in the warmth.

Hope everything went OK, GF. Difficult situations, especially when they're firsts.

Meanwhile, as ever, I didn't manage to do everything I was hoping to get through with Mr Snoop's helper. But enough for me to see progress.

Did a bit more floor grouting now that other things have been moved back into their proper position. Getting there on that too.

Managed to achieve a few things yesterday. Forecast today is showing showery, infact for early in the week too.
Back was pulling a bit so was careful incase I made it worse.

Brews on the go, will have a ratch to see if there's any croissants left.

Good morning.

It was quite nice to meet up with the family yesterday. It was my aunt's, by marriage, birthday. She is only 7 years older than me. The weather, cold and rainy, spoiled things slightly as we couldn't sit outdoors.

One question. When did we all get so old?

I thought of going to a car boot sale this morning. Although the sun is shining at the moment it is very wet outdoors with more rain in the offing so I've changed my mind. It is slso only 8°C.🥶

Sounds like a few of us have got bad backs we need to look after. Me, it's my shoulders today after shifting loads of water up hill and down dale.

Looks like a domestics and paid work day for me. So exciting... Anyway, coffee first. Anyone care to join me? No croissants or other goodies, I'm afraid. But the coffee's good, honest.
