Good morning.

It's already starting to get light and the birds here are being very noisy at this ridiculous hour. I think that I've managed about 3 hours sleep so far. I've officially given up now and made coffee.

Morning all,sun trying it's best,cooking turned out ok,thank you for your responce friends,we will be fine,life has this habit of kicking one in the teeth,pardon the pun,he will be ok,it is so hard to believe what goes on in some peoples minds and why they are so violent,off to church in a bit,then it's pick up some brown SR flour for the coffee walnut cake,have to take one with us ,got to chuck things in the case yet,hehehe,have a lovely day all

Morning all.

Bright and sunny here, so yesterday's tiddly bit of rain will dry up in next to no time.

Mr Snoop's helper for the morning is out giving the olive trees a brutal haircut. I hate the sight of them post-cut. At least now I know they'll be bushy again in a couple of years. And I'm not sorry the one in my veg patch is so short. It cast a huge amount of shadow.

Longish list of jobs for the day, especially as we got rather caught up by watching films on the telly. I still haven't got used to having a telly and back-to-back films is more than I can manage. But Mr Snoop really fancied an afternoon matinée as he put it, though why it's called a matinée if it's in the afternoon I have no idea.

I have been exchanging emails with my brother in Australia.

Although it is 13°C the northeastly wind is yet again making it feel rather chilly.

I think I'll go and zap some pastry in the food processor next.

Afternoon a bit of a mix today it’s been either sunny or shady. I’ve done some gardening, been on dog walks including going to a motor bike open day.
It’s starting to drop cooler so I’m in the caravan reading until dinner time.

Morning all.

Supposedly bright sunshine today, but it's thick clouds that look like we could have a bit more rain. Not sure if it's yesterday's rain hanging around or tomorrow's that has arrived early. Either way, more rain would go down a treat.

Not a very productive weekend, workwise. But I'm already in de-mob happy mode. Not a good idea, but I had a lovely time. And my veg patch is starting to look like a more realistic proposition as opposed to just one or two beds for tomatoes and courgettes.

As for films, GF, we'll watch pretty much anything except horror films (I can't be doing with them) and anything in which someone starts brandishing a knife in the opening reel (the stress of waiting for it to be used makes it impossible for me to follow the plot or dialogue). My faves: anything with guns, lasers or fast cars. Dreadful, I know. This weekend we watched The Gentlemen, The Departed and Inception. Hugh Grant is always Hugh Grant, but Jack Nicholson... you quickly forget who he is and get caught up in the part.

Right, better get on with stuff I should have done over the weekend.

We have rain finally not a lot but every bit helps.

I usually watch Sci-fi or fantasy films, or anything with the late Dame Maggie Smith she never had a bad film and always had the best lines. Other than that anything by Tim Burton we do have a collection of his DVD/BluRays and have watched them many times.

I'd better check my wardrobe for breeding coathangers

OH is off a couple of days but things to do for him as he has a course today and car mot tomorrow 😄so not much holiday.
