Morning, dull and grey here as well GF rain due this morning so i'll be giving my windows a miss.

It's a job that I used to hate until I got a window vac. Now it is quick and I generally end up with clean windows. Before I got the vac they sometimes looked worse afterwards! I'm only doing insides however. The window cleaner is in charge of exteriors and is very reasonable.

Very chilly start to the day outside, not that warm indoors either now that we're leaving windows and doors open overnight. I know that in just three months I'd be overjoyed at morning temperatures like these.

Plenty to keep me busy indoors and out today.

A very quick pop in as we’re about catch the ferry from Bute to the mainland…but we gave a decent signal, so wanted to say hi to everyone before dissapearing off again.
I’m gathering smiles as I go, and sharing them around…boosted by the incredible weather we’re having!

Bed change here too Flo - bit the bullet & switched to the summer quilt as I had a dreadful nights sleep, waking too hot & throwing off the winter quilt then waking too cold I'm wondering if I've jumped the gun a bit though as it's a very grey day here today.

Nicos you must tell me if Bute is worth a visit. We are always talking about going and that’s as far as it gets! Anyhoo gave you a wave but you probably missed us as we are tucked round the corner in South Ayrshire today.

Did I miss something with the ‘Visitor Message’?

No, not really. I received one from CG by mistake, as she meant to post it to the Chitchat thread instead. No idea why. Fingers crossed it was a one-off. No-one else has said anything.

Been quite a windy day here and surprisingly cool. About to take Jack out for an evening stroll and will have to get all bundled up in a cardie and coat. Did a bit more grouting. Arthritis in my fingers means I find it quite hard work. Doing just a a dozen or so tiles at a time now. Mr Snoop got impatient with me and tried to take over. Not only did he not get very far but he also made a right mess... But that's between you, me and the gatepost.

Re housework: Why does one job always lead to another? I cleaned the lounge window and then decided that I really ought to clean the big mirror above the fireplace while I had the window vac there. I didn't actually realise how mucky it must have been as it really, really shines now. Then of course I decided that I had to clean the fireplace and the hearth ...... and then a couple of other mirrors ......... ..........

I have recharged the window vac and tomorrow I think I'll attack the mirrored wardrobe doors in my bedroom.

It's a dull day today. A bit of drizzle forecast, a lead-in for a few days of decent rain. Fingers crossed.

You sound like you had a really productive day yesterday, GF. Me, all I've got today is a long list of small jobs that look like they'll fill the hours but not do much to advance matters.

A sunny day with a bit of a breeze here, the beddings already on the line and I've had a wonder around the garden.

Andraste we've not swapped to the summer duvet just yet we have overnight lows of 3c forecast this week. Maybe have a throw handy if it turns cool at night.
