  • Afternoon

I had tea and a rather nice piece of fruit cake at the charity fundraiser this morning. I was Spoil for choice they did have a good selection.

Rain started here around 1-ish spotted it in time so the laundry didn’t get soaked. Suns back out now

          • Good ev4ning all. We had a sunny dsy so got a line of laundry dried.
Daughter in law called in with grandson, so that stopped all my plans.
Nicos, I know all about remhoming things, my son, his wife and child are having an extension and conversion done to their house.
We have offered to care for some of their belongings, so everything has had to be shuffled about to make space.
No other news, have a good evening all.

And your hands begin to harden.

Showers forecast so I don't think gardening will be happening today.

                  • Mornin n’alln’all

Dull and breezy - no sun, but no rain either- so a compromise!
Hope whoever has the sun today is enjoying it!
Did I miss that brew?…typical…but thanks for the offer.

I overdid things again yesterday…so a much quieter day today
I’ve still got a load of paperwork needing sorting , and for some reason some of it belonging to my in laws

1st of March…yippee…tis my birthday month so it’s always special.
Being St David’s Day I’ll go and pick some daffodils and a few leeks to have with supper.
Happy memories of living in Cardiff.

Enjoy your day peeps and remember to share those lovely smiles of yours.

                    • Just thinking about March hares… we’ve not seen our hare for a while…hope he/ she is OK.
One used to wander around our front lawn and driveway before wandering around our neighbour’s first thing every morning. I guess it was part of its daily routine.

                        • Funnily enough Bren- I was told you very seldom see both in the same area.
There are plenty of bunnies chomping away in the village but nothing ever here.

Hibou used to keep her distance from ‘our ‘ wild hare…strange as she hunted down everything else…maybe she had been kicked by it?

                            Happy birthday month, Nicos!

It's supposed to be really dull here today, but I can definitely see small patches of blue. Better make the most of them as we're up for another couple of weeks of heavy rain, starting tomorrow. And there was me hoping I'd get to do some gardening this week...

Just done a huge round of washing-up from yesterday so I'm ready for the next onslaught of breakfast. Very grateful everyone is having long lie-ins after a very late night last night. And the night before, come to think of it. Even Jack is exhausted and has taken to his bed even though his best friends, Mr Snoop's helpers, are here for the morning.

Right, better get breakfast on the go. Your crumpets sound scrummy, CG.

                            Have a great day, everyone.

                            • Good morning all and reading the comments here it's March of many weather's.
We have a wet start to the day and seems like it's going to continue like that.
I haven't seen rabbits or hares around our area in years.
Out for lunch with family and friends later today.
Enjoy your Sunday and the sun whoever has it.

                              • I had poached eggs on crumpets thanks Ff.

Only seen 1 hare so far, on the road racing me . We get quite alot but not so many bunnies, tend to see bunnies further away where its free draining sandy soil for the burrows.
