Happy Christmas, everyone.

Nice start to the day here. My plan of putting a whopper piece of wood on the fire when we went to bed worked. Lots of embers to restart it and have a cup of coffee in bed. Then a good long chitchat, something we rarely do these days as there's never any time. And then, as I was putting Mr Snoop's shoes on (on him, not myself), I looked out the window and lo and behold, it was snowing. Not much and not for very long, but enough to get Jack confused and excited and to send Missie up a tree to take shelter from it. At the moment, it's trying again, but it'll have to do better if it's to settle.

I'm guessing I'm too late for a coffee, GF. I'll put the kettle back on and get the cups, mugs and tea and coffee makings ready, along with the fancy biscuits.

I've spent some time this morning on WhatsApp chatting with family, sharing videos/photos and opening prezzies.

Snoop I'm a bit jealous of your snow, I do like a bit of snow just on Christmas day.

We clearly had a touch of snow during the night…just a sprinkling on the roof but not enough to settle on the lawn/ roads.
Most envious Snoop… I can imagine Jack adoring the excitement of it all.

We’re about to have our roast…but wanted to say how- do to you all . I hope there are smiles radiating from here and touching their targets- especially to those who could do with a hug x

I have finished early and the ladies who i look after have had a wonderful day, they are all tired out now and ready for bed.
I am back in again tomorrow and going to sort them out a boxing day buffet for their tea.

Happy christmas night all,hope you all had a grand day,i did dinner and had a good sleep this afternoon,i seem to have a flipping cold and the chest has reared it's head again,i am doing nothing but sneeze,right the violin is now back in the case,tomorrow will be left overs,bubble and squeek with chicken,ext,with christmas pud and brandy sauce for dessert,could not face it today,night night all sleep well and god bless x

Cant see outside properly at te moment…but it’s looking frosty. It’s certainly feeling more nippy this morning.

Sounds like we all ate too much ..I certainly did
One thing surprised me though…that our granddaughter loves Xmas pud!…I thought it might be too rich for her. Darn….that’s less for meeee

Left overs today for us too. We always maybe way too much so we can have an open buffet all day, then freeze anything left as ready meals. Quite a treat tbh in a few weeks time.

I had a siesta too yesterday afternoon Lottie, the others went for a walk. So glad I did as I felt much refreshed afterwards.
Can’t believe we only have two more full days until the family leaves… must grasp the moment

It's frosty with a perfectly clear sky and I've just watched the ISS cross from west to east like the Star of Bethlehem. I'm excited because it is the first time I've ever seen it and it seems quite apposite to see it at Christmastime.

It does look rather festive here with the heavy frost covering everything, will check out my GH overnight low later when I need a bit of lettuce.
