CG…I too have plenty of jam spare, so yes please to a jam butty - or toast and jam…whatever is on offer please!

All these hugs going spare?…. Yes please- I could do with one too x

I've got two washing machine on the go, the tumble dryer and a washing line all earning their living. Good job its a lovely day here.
I think we are in for a mini heatwave this week…’only’ up to the high 20’s but that's hot enough for me!
I even threw in my hot-water bottle covers as I’ve just bought two new ones without covers.

Whats all this about the storm in England/ Scotland? I know Pen mentioned it, but is anyone experiencing it yet..or isn’t it at its peak?
Hope the damage isn’t too bad for whoever is on the receiving end of it.

Right…I best crack on…just thought I’d bob in at a more decent time to say hi.

            • Good afternoon all.No time to pop in this morning as we had a funeral to go to.2
Wishing all those who are under the weather a speedy recovery.
I too have lots of jam and jelly, all made last year.
Blackberries, cape gooseberries and plums already gone into the freezer for the next jam making session, I usually make it in the winter when it's not too hot in the kitchen
Ita our bank holiday here and the storm is due on Monday, typically bad timing.
Off to spend the afternoon in the garden.

              • Good afternoon, warm but cloudy again today, though the temperature did dip earlier for about ten minutes but has warmed up again with some sunshine, I actually. thought we were going to get some rain and thunder when it dropped so quick, daughter dropped in while she was out walking the dogs, now away home with a bag of tomatoes and a bunch of flowers, just typical, my gladioli coming into flower just when OH decides we need a holiday, and as there is a storm due daughter is more than welcome to take them.
GF I dont know why you get the impression that I could be a difficult patient, I am the quietest, most pleasant and courteous person,,,,,, when I get my own way now off to cut the grass before we do get any rain so have a good day and please pass on the smiles
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Was a nice day so been out pottering, then started pruning as you do. OH said "oh hell" when he saw me
It's quite breezy now but sat out in the sun with a rose (plus soda and ice) while OH cooks on the bbq.

9C here at the moment …feeling very autumnal.
However, we are supposed to be in for a warm sunny day- so after breakfast I’ll get an hour’s worth of ironing out of the way then head off briefly to a local vide Grenier.
Then play it by ear….maybe gardening..or more ironing…or take the camper out for a few hours…

What Is everyone else up to today? Anything exciting …Apart from domestics ?

Clearly time for a brew…fresh raspberries with Greek yogurt and honey for breakfast….plenty going spare if it grabs your fancy?

Enjoy your day whatever you get up to…and as Rary says…share those lovely smiles.

                          • Morning Nicos
Our power went off earlier but back on now. Raining here but due to be nice this afternoon. Will go and cut mum's grass (well OH will) while I do some pruning/tidying. I'm a bit stiff from my pruning efforts here yesterday but everything's gone wild this year.
I will pick some salad and cuc's to take to mum's, she is dwelling on not having anything growing in the gh this year, she is unable to though so I've got her plants still here.
