I took a day off today to spend in the garden, all was going well, until I somehow managed to get stabbed in the eye by a dead blackberry cane. It wasn't pleasant and I now look like a pirate with my homemade eye patch. It hurts

              Morning all.

Still dark outside. This time last week it was daylight. I really hate losing the early morning daylight when the clocks go forward.

The air is definitely chillier today.

Tea for me, Mr Bones, and the answer is AstraZeneca. For anyone who doesn't like needles, this one's a cinch. I saw from watching the lady in front of me get hers that the needle is quite long and the whole thing goes in. But nobody I spoke to noticed it at all. If it weren't for the swelling at the site and the ache from tissue distress this morning, I'd still be in doubt as to whether I really had a jab.

Mucho busyo today so better get cracking.

Have a great day, everyone. Smiles in the bag on the table. It's a never-ending supply so don't be stingy with yourself. If you need extras for you or anyone else, grab a load and spread them about in true Rary style.

Morning, a cool start to the day only 4.4c in my GH just now, so a big change from yesterday. I think my toms will be staying on the window sills today.

                      Supermarket shop first today.

Afternoon all, quite nice here with the sun out, though it's chilly, been to the big village to pick up our prescriptions, our only shop visit of the month, though if Tesco's muck up our order as badly as they did yesterday, we might change that, SWMBO ordered an easter egg and none arrived, not a happy bunny lol.

What a difference a day can make, weatherwise. Grey and chilly here today. I ache all over. It could be a side-effect of the vaccine or, more likely, my muscles telling me they'd done too much work at the allotment yesterday. We also both had a bad night's sleep, but for me that is not too unusual either. All in all probably the side- effects are just an achey arm each, but not enough to stop us doing anything we want to. I just hope we're heading back to having fun again. I am sick of the misery of lockdown.
