    Afternoon n"™alln"™all

Lovely to hear from you lottie - by heck you don"™t half have to cope with a bucket load of stuff ...hats off to you lass...it WILL all come right in the end with you at the helm.

Am so glad you have found somewhere lovely to move to....but ever so sad to hear your OH is in hospital. He"™s in the right place to get his meds sorted and have a full MOT. Hope he improves soon. How frustrating for him too.

Sending lots of positive thoughts in your direction xxxx

today I shall mostly be found putting up Curtains and Xmas decorations and knitting when I can grab a moment....

    Enjoy your day peeps!

    Good morning all.
Well we have a blanket of foggy frost this morning and a temp of minus 3.
It looks like fairyland buts absolutely freezing.
    An indoor day today methinks.

Lottie, you have been through so much,
You are a strong Woman and you will get through this.
My OH always photocopies all, documents before he posts them.
    Have a good day all.

Morning, thought it time i put my head round the door, what a last few weeks, good news is,we now have a new home to go to,as well as buyers,
The other news is MR,he took real poorly early hours of Tuesday am,the up shot is,he is in hospital since, and hopefully is responding,it has been a nightmare trying to get any info, the best i got is,being treated for a chest infection intraveinouse?,he had a vacant episode the other day,low blood presure and are changing some meds,a mini stroke has not been ticked of the list,i did manage to get a few words with him via the phone, sounded bit brighter, but speach coming and going,is waiting for a therapist to visit, will try ring again later on,they often ignore it where he is,i have a little bother with the leagle who drew up POA,after 3 months it should have been done,i was tolled that the gardian office in london has lost it,WHAT,and nothing can be done only start again,no way said i,on ringing said london office myself, they can find no trace of it,next call was a senior partner in the leagle place, have tolled them i am not happy, and someones head needs to roll, according to london,if the said solicitor is willing to veryfy the copy she has of the original documents, that it is MR's signiture,it can be aplied for as urgent, you see,the paperwork for selling what we have, with MR being in hospital, there is no way i can get the papers for him to sign, also,he has nothing that will be accepted as proof of identity, only the POA documents,as you can guess,i have been extremly on another planet,a very good friend has spent time with me in the afternoons for support, especialy some phone calls,if anyone out there has applied for POA,please contact your sorce and make sure they have done it,advice from london also said, ask when, where and how the docs were sent, and prof,we think they may be sent, the solicitor was very quiet ,i had to ask a few times if they were still there, but the attitude was very matter of fact,on starting again, and waiting another 3 months, having said all that,i am feeling a lot better, again,i hope to get some answers tommorrow,if not, another call, and then another higher body,i cannot let this rest,we need this move for my sanity and while MR still got meaning of whats going on,hope things are good for others xx

They do do ankle replacements, but I don't know how successful they are. Grey, cold and rainy here yet again. I won't be going far unless I have to.

Anyway, bright blue but perishing cold at the moment. Going to be miserable grey and even perishinger colder shortly. So best make the most of the sun while it's here.

    Have a good day, everyone.

    Morning

We've just finished breakfast Flo bacon, eggs and toms on a sourdough oatcake. Drizzle and mist here so unless it changes I won't be going far today.

Mothhawk I've got pine cones as well as decorated egg boxes in in my stored box plus some weird looking Santa's.

    Evening all.

Did a lot of domestic stuff today, including giving the sitting room a thorough "into every corner" vacuum and polish, ready to put up the tree. Then carried all the books and the bookcase upstairs,so I could move the table into its place to make room for the tree. Then got out the ladder and climbed into the loft for the tree and decorations. There are 6 big boxes. I don't use them all, but really can't bear to throw any out, including the two foot high snowman I made years ago (anyone remember Neil Buchanan and "Art Attack"?). Also 2 boxes of pine cones, all glittered.

After that, I took the rest of the day off.

Evening, no frost, snow, fog or rain here today, so really just a normal cold winters day.

Greenishfing I think a lot of people have taken to cooking and baking this year mostly for something to do while they've been stuck indoors. Once they've tasted home cooking and baking I doubt many will go back to store bought packets.

Back home now and watching the rugby.
It was so good to be out and about again and meeting up with my sister.
We had a good game and a catch up,
Looking forward to watching Strictly come dancing later tonight.

Thanks Snoop, and yes it was fun.

I have done some housework this morning and delivered the stew and lemon curd. The elderly in-law was moving around much easier and without a stick so I've tried to convince her to make herself a Yorkshire pudding to go with it. I know she can and she's got flour, eggs and milk and she is bored so why not? I don't think I've convinced her though. It is sad when people stop cooking for no good reason. Another elderly friend has really taken to cookery since lockdown. He is a recent widower and started because he had to really but now also enjoys it.

Have fun, bramble. Good to be out and about these days and socialising, even (and sometimes especially) when it's a bit brisk and blowy.
