think i'd rather be doing something though - not sure what, dont seem to be planning anything recently - i think my winter hibernate mode is kicking in.

Went round to see my MIL, as its her birthday. Took DD out trickle treating with her friends, whose mums happen to be my friends
Sunbeam popped round with a great big bag of pumpkin flesh, so I have been attempting a pumkin pie with some of that, did'nt come out too bad.

Hope you waved to me when you drove past Langley Mill by the Belfry on the toll rd. Or do you do 'wave to Haze' at Perry Barr J6, M6?

                  Mmm. Parkin.

Somebody knocked at the door once. OH is in Ireland, so I hid. Best not to encourage trick or treaters.

Not Juan single tricker or treater. LadyWayne bought a bucket full of halloween sweets/popcorn/chocolate thingys from M&S too.

I reckon no kids could see our house because of the campertruck!

Aw. That happens to us most years. It's a bit disappointing isn't it? We had the little girls from next door (twice) and one other little boy with his parents.
We carved our pumpkin and failed to find a decent horror movie to watch!

Right! Must get on with making pumpkin soup/ravioli/roasted seeds!

We had a lovely evening last night, about 15 to 20 lots of TnTer's (mainly kiddies, but the same gang of 3 teenage lads came round 3 times, all they got was a lolly each tho! lol!), then a nice roast beef n yorkshire pud with roasted veggies (all from the plot) n sprouts n leeks, a nice bottle of wine, then relaxed together listening to music til bedtime!

It's the allotments bonfire and bbq party tonight, so we've been down the plot trimming trees back and helping to build the humungous bonfire ready for tonight, now its time for me to russle up a Pumpkin Chilli and Mr D to make one of his famous pumpkin pies ready for us to take to the bbq! Should be a good night!

Toll road - was'at then? Ohh one of those roads where you pay money to drive on it -not likely thats what your tax disc on the window is supposed to be for building and upkeep of the roads.Last I heard it was £9 for a one way ticket which at the time of night I be there it's just not worth it. Straight up the M6 keeping a good look out at Perry Bar to make sure the weighbridge ain't open .
