She only listens to Radio 1 on occasion - good idea though. She's not big on music - of the 3-400 CD's we have I think she owns about 20.Originally posted by Two_Sheds View PostSend in her non-stop Oldies to the Big Show for a mention? BBC - Radio 2 - Steve Wright

How about a charity site - Save the Children do 'gifts' which go to children who need them - you get a card to give to Her Ladyship. Get on-line and have a look. You can buy a bike for a child, or school books, or feeding supplements for undernourished children. It will make you feel a huge lot better than just spending money for the sake of it.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

Wiggly Wigglers do gorgeous flowers, all UK, not shipped in (I think they grow most of them themselves). I sent some to my sis for her 40th, she said they were lovely and unusual, some lasted for 2 weeks most for over a week.

To be honest we do quite a bit for charity as it is. My Mum works for a local hospice shop so we always donate to that and we donate to a couple of charities in Sri Lanka (we honeymooned there weeks before the Tsunami struck). LadyWayne also supports an orphanage in Kenya via work and my Mum. They raise a load of money at work via various events, take the funds to the charity shop where my Mum works and buy loads of stuff for the kids at the orphanage. Thay way, the hospice benefits from the takings and the kids get loads and loads (and I mean loads and loads - our dining room was full last year) of stuff sent out to them once a year - bedding, clothes, toys, crayons etc etc.Originally posted by Flummery View PostHow about a charity site - Save the Children do 'gifts' which go to children who need them - you get a card to give to Her Ladyship.
