I shall be travelling alone - LadyWayne will be working hard as usual on the day, but we have the rest of the week off together - and a night in that lovely hotel to look forward too.

Nice to hear from you Wellie unt Trousers, hope the move's going well (you are moving entcha? - not known for my memory skills see).

I'm happy to go wherever - within reason of course!

                  Oh, I forgot to say.....
If you do decide on The Chequers in Weston Turville, HeyWayne you'll need to duck Sweetie rather a lot in what we used to call 'The Visa Bar' on your way to 'The Little Boys' Room' as there's a low beamed ceiling..... Sorry Mate! Potential Ouch Alert from Wellie, that's all....

PS. Have a fabulous time you two!

Best we stick to the old lamby place then - I can't bear to see a grown man cry...actually I'm trying to remember how high theh ceilings are at the SoM ....to me all ceilings are high

Both the pubs in our village have low ceilings, one of them has a door that's actually level with my chest!

Oil be fine, but that's for the "heads up"
